2. What we collect
Buyers: name, email, purchase history, the cause selected, and which offers have been redeemed.
Merchants and causes: the fields submitted on the signup forms.
Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our systems.
3. Why we collect it
To deliver the book, to pay causes correctly, to report redemption counts to merchants, and to email buyers about their book.
4. Email and CASL
We send email only with express consent, collected at checkout or at signup. Every message carries an unsubscribe link. We keep a record of when consent was given.
5. Who we share it with
Payment processing, email delivery and hosting providers, only as needed to run the service.
We do not sell personal information. Merchants receive redemption counts, never buyer identities.
6. Cookies
A cookie records which organisation referred a purchase so the correct cause is credited. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. How long we keep it
Buyer records are kept for the life of the book plus 7 years for accounting purposes.
8. Your rights
Request a copy, a correction, or deletion of your information by emailing us.
9. Changes
We will post changes on this page with a new date.
